Radiance

$55.00

This painting is all about texture. We will meet twice because the texture needs at least 24 hours to dry and there’s no speeding up this process. The first class is short. You will decide on the shape and put down the texture. In the second class, we will paint. You can choose the color scheme and we can even add some sparkles at the end. It makes for quite a stunning piece.

Magical Forest

Ready for something different? Here’s a class where we will use various tools and techniques to achieve texture and depths without a paintbrush. We’ll create acrylic washes, use stencils and other tools to create an abstract piece reminiscent of a forest scene. For this class we can change the colors to reflect a winter snow scene. Really fun and doesn’t require drawing or painting skills – for those of you who think they can’t paint, you can do this.

Ever heard of alcohol inks? They are just the most fun to work with. This class offers an introduction into the magical realm of alcohol inks. No drawing or painting skills required. We’ll do several small pieces and take a stab and some abstract flowers too. Your final piece will be matted to 8 x 10 inches. All included in the price. Texture

If you have wanted to learn more about how to create a painting using texture, this is the class for you. This class focuses on how to use tissue paper and handmade paper and encourages freedom of expression rather than copying a sample painting.
