JOIN THE ARTISTIC JOURNEY

Even for beginners, taking an art class can be immensely beneficial and rewarding. Learn in our studio’s supportive environment where you can explore your creativity without judgment or pressure. Gain foundational skills and techniques through step-by-step guidance.

Our classes provide an opportunity to immerse yourself in a new form of expression. Creating art is a rich and rewarding experience and you may discover an untapped talent or passion along the way.

Altered photos art class in Denver

Altered Photos

Turn your vacation photos into a stunning watercolor. It’s almost magical how this happens. Here’s how this works: You send me 2 of your favorite vacation photos before the class. I will print them out on photo paper and show you how to transform them in class. I strongly recommend landscapes and city scapes. Please don’t use close ups of people, faces, or animals.

Many artists use photos as a starting point for their work. In this class I want to introduce you to this process. We’ll break down this beautiful flower photo into manageable steps for you to recreate. We’re not attempting photo realism, but rather want to explore how we can use an image as inspiration for a painting.
